My background is in computer science with design and development in desktop applications, web applications ,and websites. My first website was developed in 2004 using hand-coded HTML. This web site quickly became out of date and I understood how critical it is to make it easy to update the content.  By using a content management system (CMS), it is easy for anyone to maintain and update the website content.  After some research into different options, I discovered that Drupal is not only the best CMS system available, but it is open-source (free) so that it is available for small businesses and non-profit organizations with a limited budget.  Being free doesn't mean Drupal cuts any corners on quality or functionality – it truly offers the best solution that even many large corporations have adopted.
